Course description

This class emphasizes the fundamentals of effective writing, along with the elements of rhetoric-audience, speaker, and purpose. To write effectively is to empower thought, language, and expression. Empowering language is mastering its tools-organization, vocabulary, and grammar. Integral to this course is specific study in these areas developed through essay creation, submission, and evaluation.
